Top Picks From The New Rental Service At John Lewis

Say what you will about Lisa Rinna renting her Tom Ford…
I think renting is cool.

It’s a myth that being sustainable is costly. It’s not. Try choosing refillable items over new items reduces plastic and other waste. Or try buying household cleaning items that contain zero chemicals or switching to biodegradable nappies and/or reusable ones.

Another way of being sustainable – and saving the pennies – is to hire your clothes.

In a bid to attract the next generation of customers, that’s exactly what John Lewis are offering…

John Lewis Rental

John Lewis has just launched its first womenswear rental platform powered by HURR – johnlewis.com/fashionrental.

The platform hosts a range of exclusive John Lewis brands and introduces over 20 new contemporary brands for customers! You can find brands including Olivia Rubin, O Pioneers, & Other Stories and Seraphina with rental prices starting from just £20.

There are also existing John Lewis favourites from brands like Whistles and Somerset by Alice Temperley alongside exclusive collaborations such as the upcoming Erica Davies + John Lewis collection.

How does it work?

Customers will be able to browse the collection at johnlewis.com/fashionrental, choosing to rent a garment for 4, 8, 10 or 20 days with next day delivery if needed. Once the items have been chosen, the products will be posted directly to the address and included will be a pre-paid postage label for returns. The items will be dry cleaned by HURR (using Oxwash responsible laundry services) and ready to be rented again.
