How To Make The Most Of What’s Left Of Summer In London

August 28, 2019

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”THERE MAY ONLY BE A FEW DAYS LEFT OF SUMMER BUT THERE ARE STILL SO MANY MEMORIES TO MAKE” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:14|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Lato%3A100%2C100italic%2C300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic%2C900%2C900italic|font_style:300%20light%20regular%3A300%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Despite having lived in London for almost 11 years, I still feel like a tourist. My London Bucket List is never complete. There’s always something to add. So before the Summer is finally over, here are some things I’m sure you’ll love to do as much as me.

London Instagram Walking Tour

Whether you just want an easy introduction to Instagram or you’re an avid fan, everyone can take something away from this experience. Meeting in St Paul’s, you can join a group that will take you on a walk right through to Southwark with a focus on taking amazing pictures for your IG.

This 2 hour walk offers hands-on tuition, top tips for IG and an improved knowledge of how to use the app to it’s full potential. You can meet other adventurous people and best of all, take some incredible pictures. You’ll be given a number of photo challenges to help you become more curious in your photography and caption creation. Reserve your place here.

London’s Connaught Village

One of my favourite quiet London spots where you can not only shop incredible brands but eat to your hearts content. A day spend in Connaught Village has long been my favourite past time. I’ll go get a blow dry, pop in and try on some shoes and sit in the gardens just admiring the view. It really comes alive in the Summer. For tips on what’s on, from wine tasting to cuisine nights, see here.

London’s First Brunch Festival

Yes you read that right! This weekend at The Truman Brewery (Brick Lane), you can brunch like you’ve never brunched before. There are talks and workshops, a great marketplace to shop and of course, food. With a DJ set and a cool setting, it’s somewhere I’m desperate to go. Tickets cost £12.50 plus booking fee (or £35 for a VIB ticket, Very Important Bruncher!). Book here.

London Southbank Food Market

Don’t know about you but I love exploring food markets in London. Along Southbank, you can find some of the best street food in London. Stallholders are committed to providing food bursting with fresh, vibrant flavours from across the globe. Each weekend and even on bank holidays you can visit and walk along for free. There are great views of the river and insane aroma’s of food cooking around you. Grab your foodie friend and check it out!
