Valentine’s Day isn’t for everyone but I’m definitely on board. My husband and I both lead very busy lives in between caring for our 5 month old girl and working, so the fact that there’s a day dedicated to showing our love, commitment, support and appreciation to one another means we can put aside everything and for a moment just focus on us a little.

Valentine’s is something I’ve never particularly struggled with. Perhaps it’s having a brother or from my time spent working at GQ either way I know what the men in my life want.
To make it simple, men’s gifts can be split into three simple categories: grooming, shoes and watches or hobbies (think books, music, film). When it comes to my hubs, between his sister, mum and myself I’d say we pretty much have it nailed. In Dan’s case it’s normally anything from Supreme, Maison Margiela or luxury skin/hair care!
Right now there’s so much the modern day discerning gentleman would love. I can’t wait to give Dan this ‘Sneakers’ book from Wordery – as a sneaker head it’s a coffee table book he’ll really cherish and one that says ‘I saw this and thought of you’.
