3 Unique Ways To Wear Blue, Black & Gold

Just in time for Autumn…

Although once considered a fashion faux pas, blue and black quickly became the go-to colour palette of choice. All around the world in fact. Don’t believe me? Well, just check out all of the fashion week pictures from Milan, New York, London etc. As I prepare for my post-baby closet, one sure fire way to kick start my Autumn/Winter wardrobe is to inject some neutral colour. But not camel, white and grey. I’m talking blue, black and gold or white accents. Whilst I’m hoping for some sunshine to last us through September (it’s possible), I’ll leave the heavy coats and cable knit jumpers for another time. I’ve curated my favourite three looks which you can shop by clicking the image.

True arbiters of style know that a good Breton and reliable pair of mid heels are a must. They can be dressed up or down depending on occasion (and weather). For a breezy city style in between Summer and Autumn, I adore these Topshop shorts with lots of blue accessories.

For a luxurious look in the city, By Malene Berger have some fab blue staples. With the right accessories they can be worn over and over. Investing in mid-range designer like By Malene Berger keeps your wardrobe premium while allowing you to mix and match your capsule pieces. People may never realise they’re the same pair of trousers!

Make your Summer hols last longer with frills and statement clutches. I adore this blue skirt paired with heels or slides for casual weekends in the city. In addition, these blue beaded statement earrings add a touch of colour without being OTT.

Psst… did you know that I’m expecting a baby in 2 weeks? Read all about it on my new second blog, and follow on Instagram @LittleInTheCity
