A friend of mine has bouts of anxiety and I couldn’t have recommended this book enough. The Anxiety Solution was a an initial tool in helping to make those initial changes to my lifestyle. It helped enormously back when I was suffering with (what was then) crippling stress and anxiety. It’s manageable, it’s not a typical ‘self-help’ book but more a collection of real life scenarios. There are easy to follow solutions that will not only motivate you but also make you consciously stop, pause and think. If you suffer (even remotely) from bursts of anxiety then I thoroughly recommend this book.
The book offers solutions and practices to help with anxiety. It taught me how to create a clearer headspace. It also gave me new steps to overcoming problems and the freedom to customise my own responses to ‘fight or flight’ mode false situations. I’d describe it as a crisp breath of oxygen needed to regain control of a mindset. The darling front cover is also a minimalists dream.
Chloe is an incredibly talented writer and has the ability to communicate with the reader as though she’s a friend is offering some well solicited advice. She knows anxiety, has experienced anxiety and can talk about it in a way I’ve never really read before. There’s no dictating, patronising or extreme science. Just well thought out ideas and practices to help you go about your day to day in the way you used to. It’s a refreshingly honest read with a direct approach, kind of like ‘this is how you probably feel but you’re going to be ok’.

What makes The Anxiety Solution different?

  • Reads as though you’re having a good friend talk to you and reassure you that you can change the way you think really quite easily.
  • Allows you to be mindful of the way you think, act and communicate with others rather than boring you with to-do lists that are too descriptive and repetitive.
  • Chloe’s personality shines through.
  • A great starting block for anyone who is looking for new ways to overcome the fear and stress that causes anxiety.

If like me you’re a worrier, always on edge and stressy then do give this a try. I enjoyed reading a book by someone who ‘gets me’ and finished it within two days. I’d normally be sat in the garden with the soft Summer wind and would be left feeling so motivated to look after myself – even after reading only a few chapters. Order your copy on Amazon here.
