I Tried Maria Nila Luminous Colour Shampoo & Repair Conditioner To Tame My Natural Locks

Thanks to a combination of heat damage, genes and attacks from hair brushes my hair is an exotic mix of straw and candy floss. Washing and styling it is always such a chore. It’s literally an hour and a bit of arms in the air, fighting against the wire.

After one wash with Maria Nila’s Luminous Colour Shampoo followed by a 15 minute Repair Conditioner, my hair smells divine. Although it does look like an insatiable mess, it does feel less knotty with controlled volume. This is my hair when dried naturally after using the Maria Nila products. Maria Nila is perfect if you’ve coloured hair in need of a bit of shine and great for conditioning those in-between-cuts weeks.

Easy enough, low cost and no need for a million other products.

    1. I do love Moroccan Oil but I always found it had a heavy smell and left my hair a bit too weighty – I never bothered replacing it when it ran out as it’s also quite expensive! Perhaps I should revisit? Xx

      1. I agree, it isn’t expensive and I wouldn’t replace it if it wasn’t good value for money – I find one bottle lasts me well over a year. I only use it a couple of times a week either on wet hair or before or after styling. They do a light version too now but I’ve not tried that one. 🙂 xx

        1. Oh I’ll have to try the light one!
You’re right, I think that last bottle lasted me for a really long time! xx
