We held our small, emotionally charged Jewish wedding at my husband’s parent’s beautiful home in North London.
On Sunday 14th May, 36 close friends and family gathered at my husband’s parent’s house to celebrate our wedding. Small and intimate, we wanted something that would start at midday and finish late afternoon, (I’m 6 months pregnant after all).
In Relationships There’s no denying that being in love, true love, is one of the best feelings in the world. Relationships can be all encompassing for an individual and whilst some are great, others take a lot of work. But no matter what your relationship status there’s an important skill needed. One that’s often the basis of […]
& Why Bright Colours Are OK Another day another play around with makeup. This time, it’s for a subtle yet long lasting wedding day makeup look. You may have seen my previous post where I created a neutral look in 10 minutes so here’s another quick ‘how to’ for a brighter, more lively wedding makeup look. […]
& Why I’m Considering Neutral Colours Having been engaged for almost a year and a half, I’ve thought about every aspect of a wedding. From large to small, lively to quiet, even debating whether or not to go abroad or stay home. It’s tricky. Whilst there is a venue that we’ve fallen in love with, […]
& Longing For That Fishtail Since getting engaged, wedding ideas have me deliberating and losing sleep over the most ridiculous things. I’ve no idea if this is normal so soon into an engagement? You all know I can speak about skin and science until I’m blue in the face (excuse the pun). However with wedding skin, I have to take it up a notch. […]
As a wedding guest, I’m always conscious that it truly is someone else’s special day. With months – sometimes years – invested in planning the details, (from the cake right through to the name settings), I’m of the belief that you should always make that extra special effort when getting ready. If you’re single, remember, your friend […]
Today Daniel and I celebrate our three year anniversary – the anniversary of being boyfriend/girlfriend. To this day I still remember vividly his face when he asked (I’d obviously made a fuss that I’d wanted him to ask me) and that exciting feeling when saying yes. Earlier today, I spent twenty minutes in our local greeting card shop […]
Whether it’s a homemade vintage type of wedding, a Vegas wedding, a swanky hotel wedding or even a beach wedding, any fashionista will use it as a great excuse to celebrate love and dress accordingly for the occasion. Last year, Daniel and I attended a pretty epic wedding inside the stunning Bath Abbey. It was a […]
