How To Transition Your Gorgeous Blazers From Winter To Summer

I’d say it was around three years ago that blazers had a revival. Suddenly we saw the high street explode with them in every shape, size, colour and fabric. Today we each probably own a couple. It’s definitely become a staple that we update every season.

I couldn’t resist trying on this gorgeous checked double breasted blazer when I saw it hanging up in M&S. I’d popped in to look for a coral coloured co-ord (which I still haven’t seen again to this day – note to self, buy when you see) but ended up with an armful of new season dresses, skirts and this. I love the sharp shoulders, the flattering length but best of all, it’s got that superb M&S quality that we’ve all grown to know and love. Add to that the beautiful buttons and the wonderful tailored fit and you’ve got yourself a winner. All of this beauty for just £79.

look one.

Worn over a simple pair of culottes, a cami and some insane new season Kurt Geiger shoes (and purse bag) this is a real look that works at the office and the bar after work.

I’m wearing:

M&S Blazer,

shoes & bag both Kurt Geiger,

Topshop cami,

Oasis trousers (now reduced to £20)

look two.

Did someone say, city shorts?! These M&S cream chinos are part of my new season capsule wardrobe. I love the versatility of them (they look lovely with trainers and a roll neck jumper too) and how comfortable they are.

I’m wearing:
