Perfectly Pinned Office Inspiration

Having been working from home for almost three months now, it’s time that I took my work space seriously and started investing in some quality office features. Aside from the standard screen stand, mouse and notebooks, I’d love some amazing lamps, wall detail and a colour theme. We’re in the process of looking for a new home so it means more space, more creativity and increased office purchases! So thanks to Pinterest, here’s what I’m lusting over right now and where to buy those key office updates.

Black & White

A simple, minimalist monochrome office is top of my wish list. Think thick black frames, oversized white boards, glossy desks and chic chairs. I’ve seen some really cool fashion offices that are so plain, even the plants are black. A real blogger office comprises of simplicity and enough of a blank canvas to creatively brain storm up coming pieces and brand collaborations.

Wall Details

My current office situation lends itself to little more than an oversized Chanel poster. It’s a sketch for Mademoiselle given to me around two years ago. I love it. But when I see all of the wall displays other offices have, it makes me a little envious. So my new office will for sure have a picture wall and enough board space for my muses, quotes and inspirational prints. Not to mention blog ideas and photography obsessions.

Blushes ofย Pastel

In an otherwise completely plain office, splashes of pastel make a huge difference. I love the pop of a blush pink in the form of some stunning flowers, a little cushion here and there and not forgetting the possibilities with clothes hangers for a blogger office. From photo frames to rugs and organisers, here’s what I’m loving.

Metal Details

Whether you’re a fan of rose gold accents or full on steel hardware tables, chances are you’ll love a metal piece or two to give an office a finishing touch. We’ve a huge steel coffee table in our lounge an judging from the amount of times I’ve whacked my knees, I won’t be investing in a metal table. However, light shades, lamps and ornaments are top of my wish list.

  1. I’d so love an office space.. My current ‘office’ is the sofa or coffee table.lol
Love the monochrome look (who doesn’t). The third picture from the bottom is perfect. Small room, but big window and plants. I so need to invest in some house plants.. preferably the kind I can’t kill..
    Good luck. ๐Ÿ™‚
