[vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”17828″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Being asked to talk in London in front of a cinema audience about the film, “Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes For Lizards” is one of my all time career highs. Although I didn’t actually end up doing it (I was a new mum and had to pull out due to newborn commitments), my passion for Manolo Blahnik remains much the same today as it did then. I love them.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”17825″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”17826″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]
Manolo Blahnik…

OK, it’s an expensive shoe. That said, it’s one of my favourite high end designer shoe brands. From an early age, influenced by Vogue, BAZAAR and later, Sex and the City I’ve always dreamed of owning a pair. The blue Manolo’s that she wears to marry Big at the end of the first movie are just wow!
Enter stage right my 7 inch high sling backs…

Now I have to confess, I no longer own these. I sold them on during my mad clear out. They were a little on the ‘too high’ side for everyday wear and I just wasn’t getting the use out of them. Also, the money I got for them was not too discounted from what I paid.

High Re-sale Value…
[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Which brings me to today’s post. Classic Manolo’s that are worth the investment. Ones that aren’t too high and are a colour that will either pop (like the blue) or blend with almost anything. I’ve got my eye on the white slip ons with a unisex suit.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
