The 5 Minute Face
For an effortless everyday makeup look, I have a handful of products that I swear by. Some I’ve used for 20 years (Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner), others are brand new (I couldn’t live without the new Chanel Les Beiges water fresh Foundation).
I’ve been fortunate to try an abundance of makeup and skincare over the years and I like to think that I’ve finally nailed the right bits for me. I don’t ask for much – only the moon on a stick (!)

A note on my face...
Firstly, I want to point out that I don’t have injectables or facial aesthetics (no Botox, fillers, Profhilo etc.) – although no judgment here. The products I use are namely for the purpose of addressing my concerns which include minimising fine lines, wrinkles and skin that isn’t as plump as it once was. It’s also important for me to keep my skin super clean as I’m prone to acne breakouts. I double cleanse every evening and try to use light, buildable makeup. I also have sensitive skin. So if you’re thinking of buying anything on my recommendation, please bear this in mind.

My Makeup Saviours
Foundation – Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch.
Buildable, light, light reflecting and all round brilliant. Great for older skin.
Concealer – Vitamin C Concealer by The Body Shop
Excellent for coverage and radiance under eye. Vitamin C is a powerful ingredient for reducing pigmentation.
Eyebrow Fibre – Brow Precise Fibre by Maybelline
This is incredible. It adds tiny fibres to your brows and holds them in place all day long. I cannot recommend this amazing product enough especially for a fiver!
Mascara –L’Oréal Paris Double Extension Mascara Waterproof.
Always waterproof to avoid smudging! A product I’ve been using for 20 years…
Eyeliner – Rimmel Exaggerate Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Another product I’ve used for 20 years.
Lipstick – Chubby Stick in Whole Lotta Honey by Clinique.
I was given this for Rosh Hashanah and already ordered a second on Amazon!
Blusher – Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Blush
A little goes such a long way!
