Luxe For Less: How To Be Inspired By Designer Clothing & Shop The Style

Shop High End Inspirational Style

So much time and effort is spent finding good talent, creating amazing designs and crafting those lust-worth designer items that I feel it’s somehow fraudulent to go and buy an exact copy of something (however tempting) for a fraction of the price.

That said, I love nothing more than using designers as inspiration to help reimagine my wardrobe. It’s easy as well, just look at textures, fabrics, cut and colour. So with this in mind, I chose some of my favourite designer ads and asked my lovely Charlotte to write a post on how you can shop the style for less.

Utter the words ‘designer fashion’ and brands such as Armani, Gucci and Dior immediately spring to mind. Luxury by name, they’re more than just a fashion house. They represent extravagance, craftmanship and comfort.

Luxury fashion by nature, is more than just a garment. What designers are doing is creating a business which is exclusive and expensive in equal measure. Designer fashion is a culture within itself, for many it’s all but aloof, its much bigger than just sales. Luxury is, in simple terms, beautiful design.

Admittedly, what cannot be designed is the creative craftmanship and quality it attains. For many, it is this, the unattainable, which remains so attractive; the desire for more fuels our shopping habits and fashion choices.

With this in mind, we’ve been inspired by the creativity of luxury fashion and curated an edit of designer inspirations we are loving right now.
