For me, there is no better shoe to evoke nostalgia than the Adidas Samba. These updated versions of the OG Adidas Samba are probably the third or fourth pair of Adidas Samba that I’ve ever owned. The first pair I had were when I was 13. They were bottle green with cream stripes and were so comfortable!
Well, nothing has changed. They’re still as comfortable as ever and I’m so happy that they’ve made their resurgence! Their minimalist design and iconic branding make them easy to style.
Obviously my style has come a long way since the 13 year old in Adidas poppers and a hoodie. To update my looks, I keep to a muted colour palette and keep clothes simple. Many of these pieces I already own. That’s the beauty of Samba – they go with what you already have.
