Review Of La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo & Unifiant Anti Imperfections Corrector

Do you ever have those days where you wake up, look at your face and gasp? Sometimes I do. Then I’ll usually spend the next five minutes rummaging around my bag. I’ll be trying to find a game changing product that will fix my face and reduce the redness.

I have to admit that thankfully, I have less of those days now as I’ve a better understanding of skincare products. I know what’s right for my skin and what ingredients could evoke a reaction.  As you’ll know from reading my blog, I’m fanatical about skincare!

When I do get that imperfect skin, it’s more often than not in the form of red marks or sun concerns. So when I got sent the new Effaclar Duo + Unifiant Anti Imperfections Corrector by La Roche-Posay I couldn’t wait to see what it was like. As soon as I applied the light beige product, immediately my imperfections and red and brown marks were reduced, noticeably.

The product has been designed to unify your complexion. Now I know that lots of brands claim to do this. So I wasn’t expecting miracles because often some leave an awful chalk/foundation effect. However, there’s none of that nonsense with this. Furthermore there are no awful  ‘mask’ effects either. It sits perfectly under your makeup helping to create that flawless finish. I have to say, I’m impressed! The list of ingredients means that it’s ok to use on sensitive skin too.

  1. I have tried lots of bb creams and colour corrector! The loreal nude magique creams are amazing, there are three different styles. I have redness around my nose and dark circles so the purple one was the best for me, I use it under a powder mineral foundation (also loreal) for an everyday work makeup! And in saying that I have tried ALOT of mineral makeupss and still prefer the loreal, builds up great coverage and has doesn’t look to Matt on the face, it keeps the oil at bay throughout the day too.

    1. I haven’t tried the L’Oréal creams before, I must give them a go! I get redness around my nose too, especially when the temperature drops and my skin’s starved of hydration. I’ll give it a whirl 🙂
