Faux Fur
Whenever I see a faux fur coat I instantly think of glamorous movie stars. Growing up, I loved the Parisian/Hollywood glam of Cruella De Vil. There was something about her style that screamed ‘luxury’. Of course these days however, wearing real fur is a big no no. We now look to faux fur for its cruelty free process.
It can often be tricky to find a good faux fur coat and that’s why I couldn’t wait to share this beautiful cream one from Missguided.
There are certain things I look for in a good faux fur coat. I love the longer length ‘fur’ pelts over the teddy style coats and I like them not to shed, (you’d be surprised at how many do). I want one that makes me feel warm and cosy but at the same time one that lends itself to being dressed up should I want it over my shoulders for a night out.
There are so many great buys on the high street right now but also from some brands that have made it big in 2020 – like Stand Studio. Check out my edits below!
