Firstly thank you so much for the love and support on my last post. It really means a lot. If you haven’t read it, it’s a post about mental health and my experience with BPD.
Extra Tops
Now for something a little lighter, let’s talk clothes! Recently I’ve been in the mood for a wardrobe switch up. I spent most of the Winter trying to be as sustainable as possible, keeping and wearing only what I truly love. Now though, there are so many gorgeous new pieces coming into the shops that I can’t help but be a little tempted. Especially tops that are a little bit extra.
I already have my favourite jeans, culottes and pants on repeat. So for me right now it’s all about tops. They don’t even have to be expensive either, I’ve seen so many 100% cotton tops that stand the test of time without the hefty price tag. Tops are the easiest way to update an outfit so I’ll definitely be investing in a few new ones this week.
This check top has elasticated neck and sleeves with big puffed shoulders and arms. It comes up a little on the bigger side so if you’ve a chest then stick to your normal size because there’s a bit of give. I love mine worn with jeans. Then when the weather’s a bit warmer I’ll wear with some tailored city shorts. Great investment (it’s only £35).
