Like any limited edition range, once it’s gone it’s gone. *Cue dropping to the floor in tears scenes throughout the UK*. But the good news is that many of the products are still available *thank you pray hands* and similar products still do exist within the NARS collection.
For me NARS is one of those luxury brands that you head to Space NK for. Just to literally dribble over the beautiful colours and elegant packaging. It’s made it’s mark within the beauty industry globally which is testament to François Nars’ amazing creative vision. It’s no secret that their bases and brushes are on the top of every high end cosmetic queen’s wish list. But what gets me excited are the lip glosses, eyeshadows and the palettes.
who?
Steven Klein is an American photographer known for his superb fashion photography. His iconic style has opened up incredible opportunities, most recently for Conde Nast’s very own LOVE magazine as well as commercial campaigns for Philipp Plein, Equinox and even fashion giants, Versace, Louis Vuitton and Tom Ford. His Instagram is chock full of images. Images that I’d quite like to have on rotation as my screen saver. actually.
fan club.
In a recent article, Steven Klein said:
“I’ve always had the highest regard for François’ work. He is the pioneer of moving from one of the greatest makeup artists to creating great makeup. It is super exciting for me to collaborate using my photographs and joining them with his cosmetic genius.” —Steven Klein, Photographer
It’s drama, it’s arresting and it’s provocative. It’s very Steven Klein. With its bold colours, theatrical looks can be put together to cause a true spectacle. Tone it down for the day but then reapply and double up for intense colour in the evening.

The perfectly pressed powder eyeshadows (price, £18 each) come in a trio of colours. Use the white (colour ‘Mortal’) on the inner corners of the eye and other the brow to offer a wide awake look and add a touch of the ‘Stud’ for a darker shimmer to contour the eyelid. The ‘Never Too Late ‘ shade is a subtle olive green that gives a new dimension to a smokey eye when used in lieu of black (and also way less hassle to apply and get right).
camera ready.
The deep red on this Dual Intensity Blush is perfect for created plummy, doll- like apple cheeks and in contrast, the bright shimmery highlighter accentuates cheek bones (perfect for strobing).
