Your mom has them, your boyfriend has them and your wardrobe’s been filled with them since you were a child. Jeans are universally known as the easiest thing in the world to wear. With so much choice in shops, I don’t know about you but I’m really struggling to hone in on one particular ‘go-to’ style – I’m loving the high rise though (mostly because I can go down in a size) and I can’t get enough of the alternative patchwork and metallic pieces.
There’s a jean out there to suit everybody’s body and whilst I’m not loving skinny jeans right now (“I’m still carrying a little holiday weight”), I know that novelty jeans aren’t going anywhere for a good few months. Re-worked denim is a trend no longer only reserved for street style flash wannabe’s, cool jeans are for everyone… even your mum and boyfriend.

Or do as I did on a recent visit to St. Albans with Daniel and opt for a pair of mid-wash high waisted Lori skinny jeans (below) from trusty River Island. This pair cost just £35.00 and come in a few colours. Stretchy enough to eat that burger guilt-free with cute little frayed hems to bring it more up to date.
