Male gift giving is something I’ve never particularly struggled with. Perhaps it’s having a brother or from my time spent working at GQ either way I know what the men in my life want – especially on Valentine’s Day.
To make it simple, men’s gifts can be split into three simple categories: grooming, shoes and watches or hobbies (think books, music, film).
When I wrote this post a few days ago, I thought this would be the ultimate gift guide. But I’ve already seen so much more that could’ve been included. Is it me or has shopping become really great for men again? This Father’s Day, ignore all the novelty gifts and get Dad something he really wants. If you’re stuck for ideas here are some gift ideas that would serve any discerning gentleman. Whether your Dad is more into his grooming or cooking, fashion or gym visits, Father’s Day doesn’t have to be a struggle when it comes to choosing what to buy. My top tip is to get something he’d never normally buy for himself, an extravagance that he’ll really appreciate.
