1. Bottles & Battles by Franco Mancini and Daniele Maran
Top of the hotlist! Off the beaten Borough track, nestled amongst the busy street food traders lies South London’s answer to Italy. It’s a clandestine and cosy drinking den. Bottles and Battles serves an ever-changing selection of wines by the glass and quality wines by the bottle. They even offer delicious traditional Italian small plates. It’s perfectly situated in Mercato Metropolitano, a marketplace which features some of the finest Italian artisanal talent. Bottles & Battles provides a calming refuge from the hubbub of the various stalls. The venue, beautifully lit with Italian rusticity, features a large communal table as well as a cosy snug area encouraging all kinds of groups. From large parties enjoying bottles and sharing dishes to couples looking for a more intimate meal. The expert team personally advise guests, enthusing and educating on the many regional varieties on offer and suggesting the most suitable food matching.
A joint venture by Franco Mancini and Daniele Marano, the pair strive to share their passion by creating a friendly and unpretentious environment centred around discovering new wines, exploring personal tastes and revisiting new favourites.
2. Elemis x Katie Jane Hughes
I adore the faces that makeup artist, Katie Jane Hughes creates. She is one of my favourite makeup artists. So as soon as I heard about this I just had to put it on the hotlist. Did you guys see Hailey Bieber? Katie has teamed up with Elemis to curate her favourite ELEMIS skincare products. Online you can watch as ELEMIS Glow Expert shares her ELEMIS skincare routine for a flawless face all day. You can check out her secret hacks and special tricks that integrate skincare and makeup for entirely fresh textures that last. They’ve made it super easy to shop her favourites too. I was thrilled to see that my favourite Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads made the cut! I’ll be writing a post on those little babies soon…

4. Penguin Audio Sleep Tales
Hitting the hotlist! A new project developed with the Sleep Council is harnessing cutting edge audio techniques and ASMR to offer a lifeline to insomniacs.
Reading at bedtime has long been an effective method for many, a way to shake off the pressures of the day while calming the mind. But there’s no denying it also requires effort, concentration and a little self-discipline – all easier said than done at the end of a long day. But what if it was made, well, easier? This month the Penguin audiobooks team launched Penguin Sleep Tales, a new series of stories for both adults and children that have been developed with The Sleep Council. Combining the old fashioned powers of a soothing story at bedtime with new audio technology, they offer a new way to tackle sleeplessness.
What would a hotlist be without some style? When I heard about e.t.h.e.r.e.a.l. on Instagram I fell in love with the lifestyle inspiration. But at the heart of the account are the beautiful hair accessories. Whether you’re into your clips and pearls or just love yourself a bit of a hair change, this is the place to go. Prices are affordable and shopping is simple. You can DM for prices and purchases and they’re also on Depop.
