WHAT I'VE DISCOVERED GOING ON IN LONDON RIGHT NOW THAT ALL SASSY GIRLS MUST TRY

Before we get in to the exciting new stuff, I just want to say a huge thank you to those who have reached out and sent kind words about the blog relaunch. As everyone knows, bloggers have quickly become ‘influencers’ (although that word still makes me want to vom) and I’ve really tried hard not get caught up in the whirlwind and become another ‘me too’ digital content creator. So I’m so pleased that you guys like the new look and the new style of posts. I’m even more grateful that you continue to support me and follow me in this weird and wonderful online world. The blog is still going to be my main focus so please guys, keep coming back and checking!

1. Film4 Summer Screening At Somerset House

Film still of a group of men in suits

Heralding the start of a brilliant new filmmaking vision, this unforgettable 1992 crime thriller sensastion marked the debut of writer director Quentin Tarantino.

Monday 19th August, Somerset House opens it’s doors at 7pm for a screening of Reservoir Dogs. From 7pm there’s a DJ set followed by the outdoor screening of this iconic film around 9pm in the courtyard. Rough Trade DJ Ben Monaghan will deliver a set in tribute the film’s radio host Steven Wright a.k.a. K-Billy – blending a mix of 70s soft rock, acid-country-psych and swamp-soul-funk.

With Tarantino’s latest film Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood released this August, it’s a chance to see where the filmmaking phenomenon began and revisit a cult classic. Book here.

3. Life After RHOBH

Ok so the end of the latest Real Housewives of New York season I could just about get over. But, having recently become totally addicted to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (and subsequently binge watching the whole 9 seasons), now that that’s all over too I’m becoming a bit emotional! I mean, just WHAT is there to watch now?

Well fear not girls because my pals over at Hayu have just let me know that there’s an incredible new program that’s just launched. Yup, currently 2 episodes in, we can all go follow the one and only Scott Disick as he shares his passion for property development and takes viewers inside the world of high-end house flipping and luxury home renovation. Thanks to Hayu for the heads up, go check out Flip It Like Disick.

4. Sammi Headscarf Launch

If you haven’t heard of Sammi Jefcoate then don’t worry. TBH I only discovered her a few weeks ago and although her style is totally not synonymous with my own (but definitely my best mate Laura’s), I love her pics.

Sammi’s IG is full of colour, tattoos and bold looks. With a following of just under a million it’s no surprise then that she’s expanding her personal brand and has created a range of headscarfs.

I love this kind of natural brand extension and it’s obvious that the brand, SAMMI, is going to do so well. Some of the headscarfs have sold out already but I hear they’re going to be restocked 15th Aug! Prices start from around £34.
