I was working at a fashion magazine at the time and (no shock here) I was influenced by what was hot back then. Everything should be grey, white and clean. I looked for shades and textures (all grey/black/white) and arranged our lounge to make light the main feature. Aside from some gorgeous art and trinkets from my travels, most things were what other people owned too. It’s an easy style.
But I always knew what was lying deep down…
I used to follow Pandora Sykes on IG and religiously scroll through her pics to marvel at her eclectic interiors. Colour, a mish-mash of vintage and velvet; a nod to old London whilst merging styles of now and the future. Her home is a real treasure trove for magpies like me. Now that deep greens, gold, pops of rich velvet and strategically arranged details are in fashion, I’m fully ready to take on my own style and really dive in to gem stone colours and trinkets that I absolutely love. Birds on the wall anyone?
So imagine my joy when I heard that Poppy Delevingne has teamed up with H&M Home, hot on the foot of our home being on the market. She’s taking readers inside her home for a sneak peak of what she loves and how she lives. Now I’ve seen her home previously in AD so I already knew what to expect. Luxurious, fun and jam packed full of inspiration from her travels! It’s got my name all over it.
