Isn’t it so easy to be influenced by social media, TV and film, magazines and so on? It’s hard to be ‘body confident’ when we’re constantly exposed to messages like ‘how to lose 10 pounds’ and ‘get beach body ready’. Oh and don’t get me started on those protein shake ads. As I’m becoming more mature I’m becoming more aware that this is just society, just a commercial vehicle that’s being driven by multi million pound brands to get you to part with your money. It’s brainwashing us into thinking we need to be perfect creatures, put our flaws under a microscope. But it couldn’t be further from the truth. Dig deep and it’ll make sense.
So I wanted to share my secrets with you on how I choose to be confident in my own body. These tips are guaranteed to help you!

Ladies Have Periods.
SHOCK, gasp, jump backwards startled. Yep, women have periods. They can leave us feeling groggy, looking bloated and to top it off, they can give us break outs. We are not superhuman and almost all women get them. Leave the house and be proud that you’re healthy and fit!
Accept That Weight Can Fluctuate.
Sometimes we’re heavy, sometimes we’re our ‘usual’ weight and sometimes, we are a little slimmer than normal. None of this matters when you’re happy and have your freedom so get out and live your life.
…about your split ends. If you haven’t had a hair cut in more than 3 years then snip your own ends off. But trust me. No. One. Will. Care.
